Alumni Information
The Alumni Association provides a network of assistance and referral to both recent and former graduates. The Alumni Association publishes a taped newsletter several times a year, containing technical discussions, tips and suggestions, news of fellow graduates, and reports of openings for tuner-technicians.
On the day after the annual Commencement Banquet, the Alumni conduct a Technical Clinic where information about tools and techniques is freely shared. The Alumni Annual Meeting is also held on that day. An elected representative of the Alumni is always a member of the Board of Trustees of the School of Piano Technology for the Blind.
The School encourages graduates to continue upgrading their skills throughout their professional lives. In addition to the help offered by the Alumni Association and the School of Piano Technology for the Blind itself, graduates can derive a great deal of benefit from active membership in the Piano Technicians Guild.
